(i) National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has been entrusted with the development, maintenance and management of National Highways Development Project (NHDP).
(ii) National Highways Authority of India hereinafter described as "the Authority" intends to invite the bids from eligible firms/individuals for collection of toll for the New Bridge across river Palar near Chengalpattu at Km 62/4 of Chennai-Trichy Section of NH-45.
(iii) The bids are invited on behalf of Chairman, National Highways Authority of India for collection of toll for the New Bridge across river Palar near Chengalpattu at Km 62/4 of Chennai-Trichy Section of NH-45.

(v) The bid document may be collected by the prospective bidders from the office of the Project Director, NHAI, Chennai at the address given below after depositing Rs.22,200/- (Rs.20,000/- towards the cost of Bid Document plus Sales-tax @ 11%) in the form of Demand Draft drawn in favour of "National Highways Authority of India", payable at Chennai.
(vi) The bid document can also be downloaded from NHAI's Website www.nhai.org and document fee of Rs.22,200/- may be deposited along with bid submission.
