Title Invitation for Bids for supervision, consultancy for construction of toll plazas on national highways sections

1. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites bids in two sealed covers, one containing "Technical Bid" and the other containing "Financial Bid" from reputed Consultants/Firms/Joint Ventures having proven track record and experience in Highway Sector for supervising National Highways works for the following sections of National Highway : -

I The construction of toll plaza including road works & building works at km 132, km 213 and km 296 of Panipat - Jallandhar section of NH-1
II The construction of toll plaza including road works & building works at km 204.500 (Manoharpur) on NH-8
III The construction of toll plaza including road works & building works of Manor - Mumbai section on NH-8
The scope of services will broadly include traffic data collections, design, number of toll lanes, topographical survey of area, modify/customize the existing drawings/specifications available with NHAI as detailed working drawings etc. These activities are to be done in first phase prior to start of actual execution of work at site.
3. Construction supervision of Toll Plazas including road and building works.
4. Interested consultants can obtain bid documents during office hours on all working days from 22.04.2002 to 17.05.2002 from the address for communication below after depositing the document fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 10,000/- (non-refundable) per package, drawn in favour of "National Highways Authority of India" payable at New Delhi. If the document is desired by post an additional sum of Rs. 500/- should be sent. The bidders downloading the documents directly from NHAI's website are required to submit the document fee on or before the last date of sale of documents.
5. Bids should reach the address given below not later than 1500 hrs. on or before 27.05.2002.
6. NHAI will not be responsible for any delay, loss or non-receipt of bid documents and reserves the right to accept/reject any or all bids without assigning any reason thereof.
