1. National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) invites bids in two sealed covers, one containing "Technical Bid" and the other containing "Financial Bid" from reputed road contractors/firms having proven track record and experience in highway sector, to construct toll plazas on following sections of National Highways :-

III The construction of toll plaza including road works & building works of Manor- Mumbai section on NH-8 Rs. 7.50 crore Rs.15.00lakh 9 months
2. Bidders can obtain documents during office hours on all working days from 22.04.2002 to 17.05.2002 from the address for communication below after depositing the tender fee in the form of Demand Draft of Rs. 25,000/- (non-refundable) for Package - I and Rs. 15,000/- (non-refundable) for Package-II and III, each drawn in favour of "National Highways Authority of India" payable at New Delhi. If the document is desired by post an additional sum of Rs. 1000/- should be sent. The bidders downloading the documents directly from NHAI's website are required to submit the document fee on or before the last date of sale of documents.
3. Bids must be accompanied by a bid security for the amount specified for the work in the table above and can be in any one of the forms as specified in the Bid document and shall have to be valid for 120 days from the date of submission.
4. Bids should reach the address given below not later than 1500 hrs. on or before 27.05.2002.
5. NHAI will not be responsible for any delay in receiving the documents, and reservesthe right to accept/reject any or all application without assigning any reason thereof.
