Title INVITATION FOR SHORT LISTING OF NON GOVERNMENT ORGANISATIONS (NGOs) FOR RESETTLEMENT & REHABILITATION ACTIVITIES (ALLAHABAD BYPASS)

National Highways Authority of India, on behalf of Government of India, has proposed to undertake the work of constructing the Allahabad Bypass on National Highway No. 2 falling in the State of U.P. The stretch is about 85 kms in length. The Rehabilitation and Resettlement (R&R) Policy has already been prepared by the social experts of reputed Consultants engaged for this purpose in consultation with the World Bank. It is proposed that NGOs be deployed for implementing the Resettlement Action Plan (RAP). The services of Consultants, registered with the appropriate authorities of the Central/State Govt., are required for providing support in implementation of the Resettlement & Rehabilitation (R&R) activities. Applications are hereby invited from registered Consultants for their short listing for this purpose. The applications should be supported by attested/verified copies with the following details:
1. Name of the Consultant along with registration details like year, place of registration, etc.
2. Organisation structure including the details of experts and support personnel with their relevant qualification and experience.
3. Details of the work done (volume/cost, nature, etc.) in the area of R&R in the last six years.
4. Experience in handling community organisation and rural development works.
5. Experience in handling R&R issues of highway related works and any other projects having linear pattern settlement like irrigation canals etc., along with the methodologies followed therein.
6. Any other details applicable to implementation of R&R activities in highway related work, if not covered above.
Short listing will be done on proven merit of the Consultants. The Technical and Financial proposals will be invited from the short listed Consultants.
